Case: The three part cushion shaped nickel silver case measures 32 mm across (not including the crown.) And, it measures 40 mm (lug to lug) It is 8 mm thick. The stem and crown is extended 4 mm from the case, and it is located at the 3 o'clock position. The back of the case is marked with the number 65842. The inside of the back cover is marked Scepter and 7765842.
Dial: The excellent round dial has a silver satin background and features radium coated Arabic numbers for all of the hours markers. It has an antique-style single sunk 60 seconds sub-dial with a black hand and a 60 seconds scale around its outer edge and it is located at the 6 o'clock position.
There is a 60 minutes scale at the outer edge of the dial.
The antique-style hour and minutes hands are black in color and coated with radium.
The crystal is flat on the surface and straight at the sides and is raised 1MM above the case.
It is marked Waltham below the 12 o'clock position.
Movement: Mechanical Wind with ornate engravings and marked A.W.W. Co., Waltham, Mass. and the serial number 21409972 (which dates this watch to 1918.)
Strap: Sterling Silver fancy engraved rosette design links.
Comments: Excellent 1918 Waltham wristwatch with the large crown and stem at the 3 o'clock position. The case is designed in three parts and is made of nickel silver metal.
For a wristwatch of this vintage it is in excellent overall condition.
